Beginner Classes - Fall 2026


Prarambhik - Level 1 classes 

Discover the beauty of Kathak with our beginner classes at Kathak Rhythms, designed for kids aged 6 years and above, teens, and adults. Build a foundation in basic hastaks, tatkaar, Hindustani classical music & rhythm and written notations while exploring the dance form. Perfect for anyone curious to learn and see if Kathak is the right fit for their artistic journey!
All classes start the week of August 18th. 
Plano studio: Begins August 
  • Kids (Age 6 - 11): Tuesdays at 5 PM 
  • Teens/Adults (Age 12 and above):  Mondays at 6 PM

Little Elm: 
  • Kids (Age 6 - 11) & Youth, Adults (Age 12+): Saturdays mornings TBA

Grapevine studio: 
  • Kids (Age 6 - 11) & Youth: 5:30 to 6:30 PM on Thursdays
  • Adults (Age 12+): 6 - 7 PM on Wednesdays​​
